Like many, there have been times I was consumed by anxiety and felt powerless to get out. This showed up strongest after I received my second cancer diagnosis at the age of 31 and began a several year journey of thinking that every little symptom or bump I felt meant that I was going to die. Luckily, through my training in Integrative Medicine, I was getting to see how anxiety manifests and is treated in different places and cultures around the world, and a bigger picture started to emerge. I began implementing what I learned first to calm my anxiety when it appeared, then to prevent that anxiety from showing up in the first place, and then to create a mindset of true wellness that left no room for the possibility of cancer to recur. I’ve been cancer-free since 2012, teaching this unique combination of Western science and Eastern techniques that cured my hypochondriasis to help my patients and clients master their minds and rewire their brains to relieve anxiety and heal their body-mind.
